Personal Finance

Designed to help change the way you think about and handle money. These classes teach the importance of budgeting, eliminating debt and keeping debt at bay, with a focus on saving. These classes are for anyone who desires to learn how to better manage their finances and establish accountability connections.

The Forgiven H.E.L.P. Scholarship Fund is awarded once a year to those pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application and essay. Individuals must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale and provide an official transcript. The student must be a U.S. Citizen and Alabama resident.

GED Prep Classes & Testing Fee Assistance

Designed for those that desire to study for their GED but prefer a more intimate setting. This is for those that may feel intimidated or nervous about confronting and overcoming an area they may already feel defeated in. We will encourage them by building their self-esteem and confidence.

Budgeting Assistance

This is an extension of the personal finance classes. After learning the importance of budgeting, sometimes it is hard to be consistent with keeping a budget. Budgeting Assistance provides individuals one-on-one help with setting up monthly budgets and coaching on how to adjust real-time as needed, while providing encouragement to stay on task with your budget no matter what.
